The last deranged wind storm had me racing outside as soon as the pounding rain had stopped! I was so upset that my heating as well as air conditioning condenser might have taken a bad hit from a tree branch. I’m shocked because I don’t even live near the ocean or in a wild plains state, so I tend to freak out when all of us get honestly high winds like this. We all know here that this environment just isn’t built for it, as well as our houses aren’t either. Tree limbs started coming down everywhere in high wind gusts, as well as folks in older homes were honestly sad they would begin losing parts of their roofs, small pieces at a time… Fortunately for me, my roof was fully intact, however when I came outside, there were tree branches on top of my ancient heating as well as air conditioning unit. I instantly raced over to get everything off the unit. Then I quickly shook the water off the tarp, as well as untied the individual straps; pulling that thing off was similar to being in some kind of horror film because I was so sad about what I was about to find. I breathed a big sigh of relief when I found that my condenser hadn’t taken any damage at all. There wasn’t even a scratch or dent in the air conditioner condenser cabinet. Grateful, I put the tarp back and then carefully redid all of the straps nice and snug to get it back into place. Then I just went back to pulling branches and tree limbs out of my driveway, as well as splitting up the nice stuff to use as kindling in my fireplace inside. That’s when my buddy next door came out. He was not so lucky as his heating as well as air conditioning condenser had been crushed by a big tree branch. I honestly hope he has it fully insured, otherwise that poor guy is in for a painful HVAC replacement bill.
