Too much traffic keeps us from the St. Petersburg theater

By the time we escaped the traffic accident, the symphony had already begun

There are a dozen fun, exciting, and interesting activities in St Petersburg, Florida, but my wife and I really enjoyed going to the theater. St Petersburg has a few nice theaters, and my wife and I have seen a number of plays like Rent, Wicked, and Cats. We always have fun. Last year, my wife made reservations to see the symphony orchestra play at the St Petersburg theater. We had front row tickets, which were almost $200 each. My wife is an avid fan of symphony orchestra music, and she played the cello during high school and college. We never miss the symphony, when it is in town. My wife and I were excited to purchase tickets right up front, where we would be close enough to smell the wood instruments. Unfortunately, we didn’t make it to the theater in time for the show. My wife and I left for the theater with plenty of time to spare. We were on the interstate, when an awful accident occurred.TRaffic was backed up for miles, because two cars crashed. The ambulance and fire departments were on scene, and the news station reported two fatalities. My wife and I couldn’t exit on the St. Petersburg exit, because of the accident traffic. We were backed up for hours and hours. By the time we escaped the traffic accident, the symphony had already begun. They wouldn’t let us into the theater until intermission. My wife and I were very upset by it the whole turn of events, but at least we didn’t miss the second half of the show.
